This rare and vibrant garnet hails from Tanzania.  The name Malaya garnet is given because of the origin of this stone. Her splendor lies in her exquisite sunset like colors with reddish undertones. Our Aurora setting modernizes this classic oval cutting. This wonderful ring is an everyday modern heirloom. 

Malaya garnets are prized for their balance of orangey red sunset tones within one stone. These gems are spectacularly shiny with an unbeatable internal fire. This handcrafted ring was created by six artisans in our Bangkok atelier using sustainably mined gems. We use untreated and natural gemstones so there might be slight variations in color as Mother Nature never makes the exact gem twice.
