Aquamarine & Tourmaline Bar Earrings

Two stones, two worlds, one conversation. A deep dark forest green tourmaline sits set in white gold anchors an elongated emerald-cut aquamarine set in yellow gold.  Both stones held together by simple gold bar settings that frame her without interrupting her. The contrast is everything, depth meeting clarity, shadow meeting sky.

Each stone is natural and untreated, selected individually for her color and her dialogue with the other. The tourmaline anchors while the aquamarine illuminates.

The two-tone setting, white gold at the ear and yellow gold on the bottom is intentional. The different gold settings honor the distinct character of each stone while uniting them in a single composition. For the collector who understands that the most interesting jewelry holds a tension within it.
