Aquamarine Contour Necklace

Each custom-cut aquamarine, floating like water caught mid-air. We are proud to present to you our Contour Collection, part of Yi Collection’s 10th anniversary and, in Yi’s own words, one the most significant style if jewelry we have made up until now. This 1.94 carat aquamarine necklace was born from the natural rough shapes of stones sourced directly from miners in Madagascar, cut by hand into free-flowing angular forms that have no name yet in fine jewelry.

“It was an intense labor of love seeing this collection come to life,” says Yi. The spark of inspiration came suddenly. The process of transmuting it into reality did not. Each stone was shaped by our lapidaries before our goldsmiths custom-built the setting around her unique silhouette, connecting each piece with a precision only a master goldsmith could execute.

This piece passes through the hands of six craftsmen before it reaches you. No two Contour pieces are alike. This aquamarine, in this shape, exists only once.
